Referral Partner Program

We believe that great people know great people. To reward our network for helping us grow, we’ve created a two-tier referral program open to anyone—whether you are a current client, an employee of a client, or just a fan of our work.

How You Get Paid

Our program rewards you in two stages:

  1. The Introduction ($50): Earn a $50 flat fee for every “Qualified Lead” you send our way.
  2. The Client Bonus (30%): If your referral becomes a client and stays with us for 3 months, you will receive a one-time bonus equal to 30% of the total monthly bookkeeping fees collected during their first 3 months.

(Example: You refer a business. They attend a discovery call = You get $50. They sign on for $2,000/month. After their third month of paying us, you receive a lump sum of $1,800!)

Section 1: What is a “Qualified Lead”?

To protect the integrity of our program, a referral must meet all of the following criteria to trigger the $50 Introduction payout:

  • Legitimate Need: The referred business must be a legitimate operating entity with a genuine need for monthly bookkeeping services.
  • New to Us: The referral cannot be an existing client, a past client, or a business currently in our active sales pipeline.
  • Vetted & Verified: The lead must pass our internal vetting process. We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to reject leads that do not fit our ideal client profile (e.g., businesses outside our service area, industries we do not serve, or businesses without sufficient revenue).
  • Meeting Attendance: The referred prospect must successfully schedule and attend a Discovery Call with our team. The $50 fee is paid out only after this meeting takes place.
 

Section 2: How the 30% Client Bonus Works

If your Qualified Lead hires Fusion Accounting and Technology, LLC, you are eligible for the Client Bonus under the following terms:

  • The 3-Month Rule: The referred client must sign an agreement and pay their monthly invoices in full for three (3) consecutive months.
  • Calculation of the Bonus: The 30% bonus is calculated strictly on the Standard Monthly Recurring Revenue (MRR).

    • What is included: Standard monthly bookkeeping, advisory, or fractional CFO fees.
    • What is excluded: One-time historical clean-up/catch-up fees, tax return preparation fees, software subscriptions (e.g., QuickBooks/Xero fees), and third-party expenses.
  • Payout Timing: The Client Bonus will be calculated and paid out within 15 days following the successful collection of the client’s third monthly payment.

Section 3: Program Rules & Anti-Gaming Policy

To ensure fairness, the following rules apply to all participants:

  1. No Self-Referrals: You cannot refer a business in which you have an ownership stake, nor can you refer your own employer if you are the primary decision-maker for financial services.
  2. First-Come, First-Served: If multiple people refer the same business, the referral credit and payouts will be awarded to the person who submitted the lead first.
  3. Introduction Requirement: You must have a pre-existing relationship with the referred party. Spamming businesses with cold emails or using automated lead-generation tools to submit referrals is strictly prohibited and will result in a ban from the program.
  4. Tax Documentation: If your total referral earnings are expected to exceed $600 in a calendar year, you must provide us with a completed IRS Form W-9. We will issue a 1099-NEC at the end of the year. Payouts will be withheld until a valid W-9 is received.
  5. Right to Modify: Fusion Accounting and Technology, LLC reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate this referral program at any time. Any referrals submitted prior to changes will be honored under the terms active at the time of submission.

 

 

How to Submit a Referral

To ensure you get credit, please submit your referrals via email to sales@consultingfusion.com. Please include:

  • Your Name and Email
  • The Prospect’s Name, Business Name, and Email
  • A brief note on how you know them and why they need our services. (Optional: Tell us if you have already told them we will be reaching out!)
